     Six Mile Creek Cattle Company is located near Pittsfield, Illinois, nestled along the banks of Six Mile Creek in Pike County. An area well known for its outdoor recreation and world renowned deer hunting, it is also a rural community steeped in rich farming traditions. What started with a young man looking to feed his family has turned into a multi-generational farming operation. Currently in its fifth generation, the farm has seen a bit of change. As the land has been passed down, each man has grown the operation and added their own touch to help ensure the legacy continues… which brings us to the birth of Six Mile Creek Cattle Company, an offspring of Harter Farms.
